Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• DAY 1: Nairobi To Maasai Mara

  The safari will begin from Nairobi Town CBD Yala Towers (Bonfire Adventures Office). The Departure will be at 0630hrs, beginning with a meet and greet then followed by a short briefing from your safari guide. We can also arrange for pick up at a convenient point of your convenience. The drive to Maasai Mara will take approximately 5.5hours. As we descend through the Great Rift Valley, we will have a quick stop over at Viewpoint. Soak in the amazing views of the largest Valley in the world said to be visible from outer space. Arrival at Maasai Mara will be during lunch hour. This will give you ample time to check into your camp or lodge, get comfortable with the amenities and enjoy a delicious meal. At 0330hrs, we will head out for a lovely wildlife adventure. This exciting game drive will give you the chance to spot majestic animals that call the Maasai Mara home. Enjoy the sight of the large herbivores as they hang out at the watering holes and the impressive lion prides as they rest under a shady spot. You can also get a front row seat to the spectacular migrating herds. The chief reason why we are in the Maasai Mara. Get a front row seat to the deadly Great Wildebeest Migration voyage. And in the evening your safari guide will drive you back to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

• DAY 2 ENJOY A FULL-DAY IN MAASAI MARA

  If you are a wildlife enthusiast and seeking a little more from your African Vacation, you are guaranteed to enjoy every little bit of this day. Right after breakfast we will immerse ourselves in yet another exciting game drive. Expect to enjoy the drive through the vast grasslands as you come face to face with the big five. When it comes to the great wildebeest migration, timing is absolutely crucial. There is no way to predict the exact moment the animals will move; however, our expert guides are guaranteed to place you at the right spots at the right time. Get to witness this mesmerizing spectacle as the animals maneuver up and down the riverbank. Crocodiles are looming just under the surface and you’ll get to see just as they snatch up an unsuspecting prey. Even as a wildebeest safely makes it to the other side, there are lions or and other predators waiting to devour them. Watch this frantic scramble as the weaker members are picked off. Definitely one of the most exciting events in the natural world. For lunch you will get to enjoy a deliciously packed picnic under the shade of an acacia tree. A special way of winding down for an hour or two in between the game drive. The wildlife will continue with their day all around you as our guide keeps watch. A really fantastic time and you will feel that you have not missed any minute of the action taking place. Return to your camp or lodge in the evening, relax, enjoy the amenities and dinner.

• DAY 3 FINAL DAY IN MAASAI MARA AND DEPARTURE TO NAIROBI

  Your final day on this safari will begin at the break of day with breakfast. If you would like you can embark on yet another exciting game drive very early in the morning. Wildlife abundance in the reserve is high during the early hours of the day. You can take advantage of this game drive and head out to catch a glimpse of the migration or wild animals that you may not have spotted during your last two safari days. After the departure from your camp or lodge, we will depart from Masai Mara driving from Narok Town (Maasai Market) with a short stop-over for any possible shopping. Continue to Nairobi arriving from 02:00pm. Drop off is at a convenience point of your choice.
